Scholarship Committee Guidelines

High school seniors must be planning to further their education at an accredited four-year institution of higher learning.

Shall be of Italian decent

Grade point average shall be 3.0 or higher reported by high school counseling.

Essay (500 to 750 words) shall explain his or her Italian heritage by region and customs.

Applications will be taken to High Schools and explained to the head of guidance department.

Scholarship certificate will be presented at the High School’s Awards Assembly by designated members of the scholarship committee.

Scholarship Committee Chairperson and members, if they wish, must attend Council meetings to present up-dates, progress, suggestions or for approval of certain actions.

All Scholarship papers must be submitted to the corresponding secretary for storage.

Public relations press releases must be arranged and details given to the corresponding secretary.

Priority will be given to children and grandchildren of our Lodge members who meet all the requirements.
The Lodge President is ex-officio member of the committee and is to be informed of all meetings.
